Day 2 of the AWS Deepracer League

Find out what was happening on Day 2 of the Qualifying Rounds

Today is the qualifying rounds for Group 3, 4, 5 and 6 across two sessions.

Bright and early, the SG Code Campus team headed over to our Tampines office in preparation of the 9am start time for Group 3 and 4.

Our wonderful interns uploading the models into the Deepracers. These guys have been hard at work the entire past month to ensure everything runs smoothly.

In the morning session, the Deepracer cars had an affinity for the white boundary line. Quite a number of teams had their cars hugging the white line instead of the centre line throughout the line. Perhaps their reward function was skewed too much in one way.

Regardless, the energy was high throughout the day through our virtual channels - Twitch, Zoom and Telegram. Students were egging on our emcee to go on track, to which to their satisfaction, he happily obliged. Our very own emcee showed his purest support for Chung Cheng High (Main) by leaving his booth, and getting onto the track.
